Create a fantasy fish, perfect for your fairie garden, using a dried and cleaned natural gourd. Learn a brushless paint method to color and preserve your fish so that it may swim among your indoor or outdoor plants in style. It is said that on star-lit nights, when people are not watching, fairies fly atop the fish to swing and play. Fish will last indefinitely indoors, and many years outdoors with minimal care. They can get wet, but can not be kept in water. (Fairies don’t like water.) This acrylic painting method may be applied to other slick surfaces such as plastic eggs , glass, and holiday baubles where brush strokes and smearing is undesirable.Class is suitable for all ages over 10, and will be taught by gourd artist, Carol S. Jackson. Fee includes cleaned gourd, all supplies, and instructions for one fish.
