This class will explore abstract art—art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead uses shapes, colors, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect. Abstract art can mean anything you want it to in your personal work, giving you boundless territory to create. We will experiment with various media and try new techniques to create our own version of abstract art that is an expression that is totally unique and personal. There is no one way nor any wrong way to create your multi-media piece of art. All materials will be provided for this class.
Tuition: Total of $35/ $30 MAC members.
