FMQ for Beginners is designed especially for the novice and designed to take the fear out of FMQ.
You will learn the basics: the language of FMQ and the “motions” that develop into motifs.

Sewing machine and sewing supplies (Don’t forget the foot and power cord)
One tie (wide) – do not wash or deconstruct!
One fat quarter for lining and pocket
Decorative 3/8 trim cording for strap (45″)
Decorative button
*Pattern, pellon, elastic cord, and Velcro will be provided.

It is a great way to learn the sewing techniques needed for a quilted project.
Supply List:
Sewing machine with 1/4″ pressure foot (if available), power cord, foot control, extra needles
Thread and bobbins
Rotary cutter and mat
Quilter ruler
One to two fat quarters
Fabric scraps: 1 piece 5-1/2 x 5-1/2″ for front, 1 piece
5-1/2 x 10″ for backing, smaller pieces
505 Basting Spray or glue stick

18″ plastic straight-edge ruler such as a “C” thru quilting ruler
An old shirt or apron to protect your clothes
