SUMMARY:Ice House Theater Project: Free Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to welcome Lauren back as she leads an engaging and hands-on workshop\, Intro to Stage Make-Up! \nDesigned for ages 12 and up\, this class is perfect for beginners\, performers\, and anyone curious about how makeup transforms for the stage. Registration is required\, and space is limited (Register Here)\, so early sign-up is encouraged. \nSponsored by Sabrena Funk of Kesecker Reality\, this workshop offers a fun and practical introduction to the world of theatrical makeup and character design. \nParticipants will learn the fundamentals of stage makeup\, starting with basic skincare and preparation techniques to create a smooth\, stage-ready base. From there\, Lauren will guide you through building a clean and effective performance look that holds up under stage lighting. The class will also explore simple special effects techniques\, including how to create realistic minor bruises and cuts—perfect for theater\, film\, or creative costume work. \nWhether you’re preparing for a performance or simply interested in learning new artistic skills\, this workshop provides a supportive and creative environment to experiment\, learn\, and gain confidence with makeup for the stage. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
