DESCRIPTION:CJ Davis is coming back to the Ice House to guide participants through a self-portrait sketch class. Join us on July 11th from 10 AM to noon for this awesome experience! Tuition is $20 to cover the materials fees.\n\nIn this beginner-friendly self-portrait workshop\, participants will explore how art can be used as a tool for self-reflection\, storytelling\, and creative expression. Through guided prompts and accessible drawing techniques\, students will create a unique self-portrait that goes beyond physical appearance\, incorporating personal experiences\, memories\, values\, and symbols that represent who they are.\nInspired by CJ Davis’s creative practice of exploring identity\, heritage\, healing\, and lived experience through art\, this workshop encourages participants to embrace their creativity\, reflect on their personal journeys\, and discover new ways to tell their stories through visual art.\n\nRegister here

DESCRIPTION:Dick Stohr of Snippy Bro’s is back at the Ice House this year on Saturday\, August 22nd\, from 11 AM to 5 PM to assist with all of your sharpening needs! He can sharpen any scissor\, knife\, and some garden tools all for $5.00 each. \nPlease bring your item(s) contained in a bag\, box\, or wrapped in a dish towel or newspaper. Also\, please include your name\, phone number\, and $5.00 for each item. Any item that is not sharpened to the highest standard will be refunded. \nNo appointment is needed! Dick will be set up in the Mercer Lobby of the Ice House.

Please join us afterwards for a dip in the Berkeley Springs Community Pool to celebrate\, starting at 5:30 PM.
