REGGAE HEATS UP CONCERTS IN THE PARK

BERKELEY SPRINGS, WV -----Expect island rhythms with a sweet flavor from the Unity Reggae Band performing in the Morgan Arts Council’s free summer concert series at Berkeley Springs State Park on Saturday, July 21 at 5:30pm. The Ice House is the rain location.

The five-piece group hails from Baltimore and have been touring the U.S. and Jamaica for nearly two decades. Their music blends roots favorites and unique originals performed with flawless harmonies, horn lines and solos. Dancing is irresistible to this music.

Unity Reggae has released two CDs and they are working on the third.

The MAC Summer Concerts in the Park are sponsored by Carl M. Freeman Foundation. Additional funding for the free concert is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, West Virginia Commission on the Arts and local hotel/motel tax revenues. For more information about the Morgan Arts Council and the calendar of upcoming concerts visit www.macicehouse.org or call 304-258-2300.
